Clean Water Now! ADOPT-A-BEACH PROGRAM

In January of 2001, the California Coastal Commission (CCC) honored the Clean Water Now! Coalition by designating the group as the "Adopted Parent" of the coves and strands of Laguna Beach. The commitment entails a three (3) times/year minimum beach cleanup and educational outreach. Founder and Executive Director Roger Butow was personally selected for an additional CCC program: BEACH CAPTAIN of the Coastal Cleanup Day.
